Join Emily to learn about urban ecology with a free mini-bird walk. During the walk, Emily will discuss the natural history of Southern California and how we can help local wildlife by contributing to wildlife corridors! Learn how to restore and provide habitat for wildlife in the city!
Binoculars provided.
Attendance is *free* but registration is required here.
Emily Cobar is Community Program Manager at Los Angeles Audubon Society, a nonprofit organization that focuses on wildlife conservation through research, education, recreation, and habitat restoration. Emily leads environmental education programs for a wide range of audiences from inner-city elementary school students to high school students to community college students. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about the natural history of Los Angeles on topics such as water conservation, plant communities, urban wildlife, geology, and more.
