THE ART OF CITRUS CARE & PRUNING W/ ENJOLI FERRARI Arlington Garden, July 1 @ 10:00am-12:00pm

This annual workshop is a rare opportunity to learn how to prune and maintain citrus by doing it yourself! There is *at most* only one other workshop like this is Los Angeles. Each class will include a lecture on seasonal care of citrus trees, including tree assessment, biology and physiology of citrus. Lecture will be followed by 1.5 hours of pruning where participants will gain hands-on experience on how to prune citrus using the Arlington Garden citrus grove as their classroom.

Join us to learn how to take care of your backyard citrus and help the Garden's citrus trees become more fruitful than ever!

Enjoli Ferrari is a certified arborist of 5 years and the owner of Garden Savage LA. Through Garden Savage LA, Enjoli creates tree hazard and protection plans for native and nonnative trees while also being able to support landscape design and installation projects.

Currently Enjoli is the Compost Hubs Program Manager for LA Compost, who provides a local option for compost access and education. In this role, Enjoli works alongside a team of compost managers who manage food scraps drop off / composting locations across 7 regions of LA County.
