Event Details
Join us on Saturday, April 12, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at Arlington Garden drop-in nature journaling and early morning wildlife observation with Eduardo Ochoa-Guijarro of the Pasadena Humane Wildlife Team.
Pasadena Humane wildlife staff (Certified California Naturalists) will be available to help identify some of the plants and wildlife in the garden, and assist those new to nature journaling. You are welcome to explore the garden at your own pace. Participants of all experience levels are encouraged to share their knowledge and use community science tools like eBird, Merlin Bird ID, and iNaturalist as citizen scientists and contributors to documenting urban wildlife at Arlington Garden. We will have a small selection of paper, pencils, clipboards, binoculars, and field guidebooks available for use. Feel free to bring your preferred supplies, such as personal scopes, binoculars, cameras, and journaling materials, too. While there will be some chairs and benches available, consider bringing your own folding chair or cushion for a more comfortable experience.
